We are very fortunate in that we only live a short walk to Lake Michigan, Michigan Avenue and Old Town.
We are only a block from the Red Line and major bus routes. We drive so often that our car is 4 years old and still has under 14,000 miles on it.
The links under the "Chicago Links" header help me negotiate the weather (I keep a sail boat in Monroe Harbor) and also navigate the CTA [Chicago Transit Authority] buses & trains.
